Tyndale House Publishers, one of the largest Christian publishers in the world, developed an iOS and Android app to pair with their line of Filament Bibles. The Filament Bible app serves as a digital companion to their print Bible products, offering users a unique and immersive reading experience.
After a digital product agency could no longer support Tyndale’s software development needs for the Filament Bible app, Tyndale began looking for a new partner. Tyndale needed a software development partner with expertise in mobile technologies who could provide a dedicated team to enhance the app’s AI functionalities and build new features to achieve their product roadmap goals.
This gave Tyndale the flexibility they needed to make quick iterations and feature improvements without needing to define the scope of an entire set of new features. With Covalience’s mobile development expertise and previous work experience with Tyndale, the Senior Product Manager of the Filament Bible app had confidence that our teams could successfully build the new features and functionalities required to drive their product development goals.

For the Filament Bible app, Tyndale needed to simultaneously build new features in their native iOS and Android apps to help them interface with dozens of different print Bibles. Over the past two years, Covalience’s dedicated engineering team has helped Tyndale enhance the Filament Bible app.
With more than a million Filament Bibles sold to date and 350,000 app users, the Filament Bible app is crucial to Tyndale’s business and revenue growth. Tyndale’s ongoing partnership with Covalience has enabled them to maintain the Filament Bible app and improve their user experience with innovative features that leverage the latest technologies including AI.
